Water is believed to be the most important energy on the Earth. Studies have proved that water acts as a receptor as well as a transmitter of information through vibration.
Water gives life to all living things. Water is easily influenced by our thoughts, emotions and communications.
Just imagine the water from a shower or a gentle waterfall. As soon as it hits you, you feel like all your worries are draining away.
Ancient cultures considered taking a shower under a waterfall as very auspicious. Nothing cleans our soul like naturally flowing, pure, clean water.
Many of us are aware of the fact that our tissues are made up of at least 70% water. We use a mixture of salt and water to cleanse our homes and our environment. Water not only cleanses, it also heals. Ancient cultures used water spells to solve many problems.
When water is charged with energy, it becomes Angel water, Holy water, Moon infused water, Peace water, Spirit water, etc.
It was believed the water quickly absorbed and preserved the powers of other natural entities via infusion. Water is holy as it is, but when the following changes were made to it, it became even more powerful:
Prayers recited over it
Flowers of herbs soaked in it.
Gemstones immersed in it
Salt and water mixed together
Here are some water spells:
Angel water bath spell
Angel Water ingredients: Collect Myrtle leaves, Orange Blossoms, Rose petals and use the hydrosol method to create Angel water which is infused with the powers or all three of the above items.
Add Angel water to your bath. This will add romance and excitement to your lives. Also add Angel water to your laundry as a last rinse. Use these for special occasions.
Full Moon water spell
This is a simple method for drawing down the moon and using the moon charged water to enhance your psychic abilities
Get a large glass or crystal bowl. Fill it with spring water. Place it outside on a Full Moon night. In the morning, bring the bowl in and transfer the water into a clean, unused bottle. Refrigerate to preserve the contents.
Every morning, after a bath, apply some of this moon charged water with your fingers to the nape of your neck and to the third eye area. Repeat for nine consecutive days for optimum benefit.
Spirit summoning water spell
Add one tablespoon of anisette to a glass of spring water to makes spirit water.
Just before you go to sleep, place a glass of spirit water by your bedside as an offering for an ancestor you wish to see. Also drink a small glass of anisette or sambuca before settling down to sleep.
As soon as you awake, throw away the water that you had offered your ancestor.
Repeat the spell if necessary.
Water scrying spells
Fill a shallow pan with water. After the water has settled, add a few drops of oil to it. Watch the patterns that the oil makes. It may form shimmery designs or a rainbow.
Ask questions for which you know the Yes/No answers such as (Is today Tuesday?) etc. Learn the way in which the oil/water combination gives you clues as to what the answers are.

It’s that time of year againholiday parties, reunions, office Christmas parties…it seems like you need another cocktail dress every weekend! Unfortunately, a lot of the same people are at the parties, so you can’t really wear the same dress twice! But how do you afford looking great in the best cocktail dresses, while still saving money to buy everyone gifts?
Rather than looking for cheap sales (as if there are any right before Christmas) and going from store to store every week, you should check out this new company that rents dresses called Closet Elite (www.closetelite.com) . They carry only designer cocktail dresses, with brands such as Gucci, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, as well as Betsey Johnson, Bebe, Marciano and more. And they’re cheap! You can rent them for just a fraction of the retail price, so you can wear a different cocktail dress to each party, and not feel guilty about wasting all of that money!
It’s really a great idea, I can’t believe no one offered it sooner. They have great winter dresses, holiday dresses, and everything from casual to formal dresses. You can choose your shipping method and have it by the next day. You can rent a gorgeous Dolce and Gabbana dress for under a hundred bucks (it would cost more to go buy a no-name dress from JCPenny) or get a super affordable dress from Bebe or Guess for under thirty bucks. It’s seriously worth checking out!

Hilarious Drinking Games

First and foremost, let me say that drinking games are really a blast! However, many people avoid playing them correctly, or make up their own rules. Avoid doing that!! When played correctly, the object should not be to get drunk. Often, drinking games can require skill and teamwork. This article will focus on a couple of popular drinking games, with an emphasis on playing them correctly.
The first drinking game we will feature is Beer Pong. Beer Pong is played at virtually every college bar/frat party in the U.S.You will start by placing 10 cups in the shape of a pyramid at one end of a table or flat surface. Have the top of the pyramid pointing toward the middle of the table. Fill each cup 1/2 full with beer. You will need a cup at each end filled with water. You will use these cups to clean the balls.
Form teams of two people each. Go ahead and flip a coin to determine which team plays first. Give each team two ping pong balls. Take turns attempting to either gently toss or bounce the ping pong balls into the opposing team’s cups. When bouncing the balls, make sure they bounce on the opposing team’s half of the table. The defensive team removes the balls that enter their cups, and drink the contents. The team tossing the balls is the offensive team, while the other team is the defensive team. As cups are removed, try to arrange the remaining cups into another pyramid. If both offensive players hit cups, they get to go again. The game ends when all of one team’s cups are gone, they are the losers. They are required to drink all the contents of the remaining cups.
Drinking games that require skill are great fun! Caps is a good example of such a game. Caps is another popular drinking game with the college crowd. Form teams of 2 players each, sitting approximately 10 feet from each other, facing each other. Place a 1/2 filled cup of beer in front of each person. Take turns attempting to toss bottle caps into the opposing player’s cup. When an opposing player hits your cup, you must drink the beer. If the opposing player hits your cup, you have the right to make a return throw. If you are successful, they must drink the beer. However, they have the opportunity to return as well. One point is earned for each successful throw. Most games of Caps are played until a team reaches 21, but that is up to you.
Drinking games can really add to the life of the party! Please play them with common sense. Avoid finding yourself in a position where you have to drink and drive, or you are “forced” to get drunk. The purpose should be to have fun, and nothing else. Cheers!
Eating Out in Rome

ght expect, when it comes to eating out, in Rome you will be faced by a large range of options: from the exclusive cuisine of some of the most famous international chefs to the traditional, hearty ‘Romanesca’ fare in all its manifold variations. Needless to say, the only way to really understand the heart and soul of Rome is by tasting its culinary splendors in a popular restaurant.
Eating out is part of life in Rome. It used to be said that in Rome it was cheaper to eat out than to purchase the same ingredients in a store and cook them at home. That may no longer be true, but you can still find cheap places to eat if you know where to look.
Testaccio is one of the areas in which to find traditional restaurants serving the local specialities, especially in the area surrounding the disused abattoir The district of Trastevere is also a great place to find good restaurants, and inside the Ghetto you’ll find several places offering Jewish cuisine as well as unique variations on traditional themes.
Surprisingly enough, some restaurants in the heart of the tourist centres, where red-checked table clothes swing from tables and waiters try to lure you in with their version of charm, are extremely good value. Via del Latore beside the Trevi Fountain has a number of such eateries.
If you like exotic and oriental cuisine, be advised that restaurants in Rome are pretty much confined to those of the native variety and, while you will find establishments serving Chinese, Indian, Mexican and Thai food, the standard is not as high as other major world cities. However, this is not going to be a real issue, as, once you have eaten in any of the traditional Italian restaurants, you simply won’t even consider trying anything different.
Pizzerias and trattorias are definitely the most popular places to dine in Rome: informal, economical and with speedy service, they are home to ‘pizza alla romana’, which has a thin crust and a crispy edge, as opposed to the soft raised crusts of the Neapolitan variety. You’ll find pizzerias in every corner of the city, but Trastevere offers an especially wide choice of pizza places with wood fueled ovens (these give the pizza a more intense flavor).
If you go the pizza route, in addition to the pizza, don’t miss other delicious Roman offerings easily found at any reputable pizzeria, such as ’suppl?l telefono’ (fried rice balls with mozzarella filling), potato croquettes, fried cod fillets, fried pumpkin flowers, and ‘bruschetta’ (slices of toasted bread topped with tomato, garlic and olive oil).
Traditional Roman cuisine stems from a time when people cannot afford a meal made with meat, and therefore had to use offal, which at that time was definitely more affordable. Over the centuries, traditional dishes like – coda alla vaccinara’ (oxtail cooked with wine, tomatoes and peppers), ‘pajata’ (veal’s offal cooked in a tomato sauce), ‘abbacchio alla scottadito’ (grilled lamb chop) and ‘trippa alla romana’ (Roman style tripe), have come to be considered as delicacies and are eaten by even the most refined palates.
Roman cuisine has a great tradition of pasta dishes often made with ‘guanciale’ (cured pork cheek) and ‘pecorino romano’ cheese. The ‘amatriciana’ adds onion and tomato to the mix and is classically served with ‘bucatini’ (a thick, hollow spaghetti). while ‘carbonara’ tosses the pork and cheese with egg yolk and black pepper. ‘Gricia’ is similar to ‘amatriciana’ but without tomatoes and ‘gnocchi’ (little round squishy pasta balls made out of potato with a tomato sauce and Parmesan or pecorino) is a favorite for Thursday dinner.
Seasonal vegetables may not appear on the menu but are usually available. Romans love their greens: ’spinaci ripassati’ (saut? spinach) are perennial favorites and many restaurants specialize in vegetable ‘fritto misto’ (deep fried mixed vegetables). Rome is famous for a local variety of artichokes, available from November to April, prepared ‘alla romana’ (stuffed with garlic and mint) or ‘alla giudia’ (fried whole, making each petal crisp). ‘Puntarelle’ is another side dish sure to be found at any Roman restaurant. Puntarelle is a type of chicory (also known as Catalonia) whose long, green spiked leaves are sliced very thinly and set into cold water so that they becomes curly and then served raw, dressed with olive oil, vinegar, garlic and minced anchovies.
If you really want to go the extra mile, Rome is also notable for lenten raisin buns called ‘maritozzi’, cream-filled pastries called ‘bign? rum-soaked fruit and nut cake called ‘pan giallo’, and a custard cake drenched with syrupy liqueurs known as ‘zuppa inglese’ (thoug’s neither soup nor English). Locals usually ends their meals with a cup of ‘espresso’ coffee or a glass of ’sambuca’, a sweet liqueur sipped with three coffee beans to munch on.

Stylish Cocktail Dresses for Any Woman

When selecting a cocktail dress, you want to choose something that is in style. Make sure, however, that it is fashionable for you because all women are built differently. Not all women can get away with wearing all the types of formal dresses that are out there. Each figure type can find a variety of suitable dresses. Most women have a regular type figure, with some lucky enough to have the body of a supermodel.
One of the important things to consider when shopping for a formal garment is body type. Formal wear should flatter a woman’s complete figure. Women who are more bottom-heavy (larger below the waist) should keep the focus on the upper part of their bodies and their faces. If a woman is top-heavy (larger above the waist), she should draw attention to the lower half of her body, possibly focusing on her legs.
For a woman who is bottom-heavy, a fashionable cocktail dress should have a form-fitting waistline, but should not be too tight. A flared look is vital for the skirt portion of the dress. This look will help to conceal some of the hips and thighs.
The skirt should be full rather than short in order to avoid showing anything embarrassing. Layered tiers or ruffles along the bottom could be used to make flares. You could also wear sparkling tank-style dress with the hem slightly flared.
Raising the waistline is an alternative for women who may be heavy at the bottom, so that the whole body has coverage. A strapless or sleeveless top could be chosen along with a flared skirt. This would allow her arms to accentuate her figure to a greater extent than her hips.
A cocktail dress that draws attention to her legs would be a stylish look for a woman who is larger on top. This can be achieved by wearing a solid color. A cocktail dress with a short skirt would really accentuate her legs. It is easy for women to find dresses that have a hemline just above the knee.
Should they choose to focus on cleavage, these women can make their dresses more revealing and show a bit of skin. A revealing V-cut or plunging neckline can be very effective. To reveal more, cover less at the top. With that, the dress could be accentuated with a bubbled hemline.
Currently, it is fashionable for some women to display cleavage. It gives them a sensuous appearance, and a number of female Hollywood celebrities have been following this trend for some time.
Wearing a fashionable cocktail dress is more than the dress itself. Accessories are necessary to complete a wardrobe. Earrings, bracelets, chokers, necklaces, and small handbags can aid in achieving your look. Neck jewelry may not be necessary depending on how the neckline is designed on the dress. Once you have the dress, you will be better able to choose accessories to complement it.
The addition of some simple accessories can make cocktail dresses stylish for any lady.

Guide to Belgian beers – Part 1

Belgium really is the home of the beer Gods. Imagine walking into a pub and being able to choose between hundred’s of beers; this is the Belgian reality. Not only is the range of beers overwhelming in Belgium, but the quality of the beers is second to none. Put that in comparison with your nearest pub, mine for instance has the choice of two mass-produced chemical beers and a small amount of the usual bottle beers. Not very inspiring is it? Which is why I often seek out the pubs which offer an extensive range of real ales, including the exquisite Belgian beverage? What I enjoy about drinking Belgian beer is the whole experience of it, the beautiful aromas, the delicate casual tasting; it even comes in its own special glass which can look more like a medieval goblet than a modern glass. I like to sip the golden ales and imagine how the monks would have made such a drink, all those centuries ago – yes I am a real romantic at heart. But on to the subject at hand my short guide to Belgian beers.
The first thing to note is that the strength of the Belgian beer is much higher than the UK or US counterparts, clocking in at an average of around 8%ABV with others easily breeching the 11%ABV barrier. This is why most drinks are not served as pints but in smaller more manageable quantities. So remember to sip and taste, not to gulp and fall.
Types of beers: I do not intend to go into much detail on the types of beers available as the list is extremely extensive, but I will give an introduction to the main groups.
Abbey/Trappist beers: My romantic favourite, those wonderful monks certainly knew and still know how to make a quality beer. It is inevitable that these special high quality beers attract some companies that try to cash in on the monks label, but only those sporting the “Trappist” label are officially brewed by or under the supervision of monks. There are six of these in Belgium, with perhaps the most well known being Chimay, the Chimay Red 7%ABV being perhaps the best loved. Apart from Chimay, Westmalle is the next best available Trappist beer, but to find any other Trappist beer is impossible without a visit to Belgium. Of the Abbey beers Leffe Blonde is easily the easiest to come across and a good place to try these types of beers.
Brown Ales: Can take some getting used to as they are quite harsh at first, but once you do they can be deeply satisfying. You may also find these beers infused with fruit, which can make a very refreshing summer drink.
